Catapult 5e
Keep player characters in groups of 3 instead of 2
Fantastic! I love grouping, especially with strangers. Layers and layers of interconnected social scaffolding... I'm hooked.
Well....theres going to be some ragged edges at first ;)..maybe an Orc or Troll that is a swoon/drum machine monster (which can easily move from headgear into armor) like the hunter cats do...and a small ranger or barbarian with *massive* body parts so he can protect them...sheesh they will get stuck :D..but the GM needs help doing this too :)
The trap in my story depends upon it. :D The trap itself does not change what level and class anything has to do wth the character, but they're placed within it. How else would the party know that what they were seeing was real? I'd totally party up in games. We would pick our own battles though, unless one decides to toss it all overboard once we hit level 10. :P It might make for interesting "pick your poison" style situations later on when they've gotten stronger as PCs. :)
Yes I do need some awesome players early in playing my game!! Like I said..they are awesome right now in their roles and want to keep it that way :)
Hahah, I can tell! Great. Haha. For me - before I ever played any campaigns - just knowing the possibilities really opens things up as far as tactics and story-telling potential! All the time management issues with only two human campaign bosses?? Nooooooo! Always room for three more! Why doesn't this fight just last forever!?!?
I wish all combat was based around level checks! D:
At least SOME degree of DM control should always be exercised....it's what made our current group develop strategies as opposed to memorize it blindsiding haha..take some inspiration from campaigns where the lower levels can go toe to toe with higher level levels! Many evil undead things are stillborn because they never learned how to use weapons properly!! Remember making your weapon cut with jagged bone when you were 6? Now that sounds pretty clever haha.
Ha! That's the kind of stuff you learn. Also being able to kill NPCs relatively easy because you have high scores... I seem to suck at one hand fights lol.... probably part psychic ability for it.
