Grandson Christopher is now attending Harvard Business School. Also he had four special great-grandchildren-Charlotte Ann Coe, Caroline Ann Thomas, Jack Charles Coe and Maxwell Alan Coe.Also a sister-in-law and brother in law Judy and Rod Gilbert of Troy MI.; nephews - Brian, Jerry, Kevin and Jordan along with many cousins, nieces, other relatives and friends.Preceding him in death were his mother, Mildred Lewis and paternal grandparents William Ray Holbrook Jr. and Stella Kayne. While all men can identify with his list of exclamations of joy, family and work holidays, the past couple of years have been no exception where just about every outing with his loving wife Shirley has turned into the happiest moment imaginable for Jim as they have discovered through an array of holiday events hosted by Shirley.Last week Jim ran her around town at the annual family Christmas get together -- her group, Merry Days, which started celebrating it's twentieth year around Thanksgiving and ending weeks before Christmas with one final big treat the morning of December 23 when she picked up the kids from school, drove them out to Oakview Golf Club and set down eight cans of corned beef sandwich and potato chips. There Jim pulled over to make sure all was OK and there he had more than enough time to squeeze in that much-prized highlight of the holiday season.Shirley added another four years to what had begun back in 1992 soon after meeting Jim at a business party.
