Sap Acquires Qualtrics

The big question remains how.

I wonder if they have acquired all available Qlik data, or just one component of it.

They'd get all the data, no matter how extensive -- simply because it would include all payments made by humans. If I recall a CTO mentioned in this sub that getting full payment info was easier said than done... though he hoped that future iterations of Qlik will enable real access within that model

While the exact syntax is somewhat difficult to understand and all I'm sure of at the moment is that most payment requests submitted/rejected are initially rejected - certainly not an automated process, and probably not strictly possible given human behavior for what amounts to the core functionality of Qlik (finding out whether accounts on one system should be linked with another) - seems fairly robust enough to me as a base structure that serves well and gives lots of opportunity for interesting features to emerge from implementing against that model in areas where human-powered interfaces exist...

tl;dr?

A number of acquisitions has been announced over the past couple years which seem to indicate SAP will continue its trend of acquisitions in software and support services and security. One acquisition announcement featured the exchange of information about security updates versus other companies like Microsoft or Oracle, indicating strong internal focus on defense rather then offense. Another analyst reports SAP's traditional focus is now a little less, more mixed-in part due to acquisitions:

It bears mentioning as a potential concern when looking at the new companies, SAP wasn't even interested in Google before. Now there's no way that could happen again with Google in this fold. They're already all on board with their integration

Did anyone notice the discussion that followed this article? My guess is.. half of those customers who contacted QuickBooks were already using Quickbooks/Talend, so they knew where they belonged anyway.

iWAN + CRM = Ready To Go or Buy Smart.

Everyone else you might think would benefit may miss out, but chances are most of them already pay or develop for Payroll & Time

iWAN + Security was already there, a real benefit only for those bigger clients, such as investment firms... so why add to that without a future impact? and either additional time/money spent training you guys in that area... or vendor providing an option before it's necessary

iGrow does reduce risk (based on success probability scale)...
