Chiefs Inactives Today
**UPDATE:** All of them are active. Beaumont, Browner, Hilliard and Moore are inactive. For the first time this season (until we beat you), Johnson is not going to be on the field, as he was ruled out with a hamstring injury earlier today.
If that hamstring injury turns into a chest bruise or something I don't think there should be much hope for him returning anytime soon next game. That being said since I'm a chiefs fan all I have to rely on is the fact Hali (now with an arm) will probably get his 12th appearance tomorrow(so not fully healthy again). Although on paper Boddy-Calhoun/Hali is already better than DRC so hopefully forrest can keep playing like he has.
Yes the article says this: >Because Hunt suffered a serious knee injury during our Tuesday practice in Oakland, he isn’t expected back until after the bye, and if he makes it after the bye—he doesn’t plan to play a single snap against Denver—you’ll still see all those other defensive backs covering wide receivers at times because we’re still short on any reliable cornerbacks. But other then that everyone should be fine, unless my eyes just deceive me? :)
Who has been doing the goal line drills? I could be wrong but seeing how we threw shorter and deeper routes on short yardage last season, they could easily create some game changing plays from a playaction move. At least a couple of turnovers maybe.
DRC did a good job with that by keeping whoever was covered in check while still allowing KJ & Kelce free acres. He's definitely gotten comfortable with the opportunity I'd imagine.
