Greycliff Cabins

The ferryman walked down to the dock, and found a cheerful face peering from the shore at him.

"Where'd you go?" he asked excitedly.

"Dead Cairn", replied James, happily waving the captain's staff over himself before tucking it back into his skirt pocket with an exclamation of "Nice weather we're having, Mr Sykes!" As he greeted Captain Sykes they nodded in greeting then smiled as one giant hand rested on their shoulders and the other was half-instructed to join his. They looked around as they settled onto the deck as best as possible, hoping no children would be left behind as usual

A middle aged man came along up towards them with a quick sheepish wave as if to say 'Sorry dude, I'm sorry mate but you'll get your turn.' Abigail watched uneasily knowing that there had been rumours about this, mainly being that adults wouldn’t like what was going over and were afraid they might end up missing out simply through being too busy to remember a fun morning for their grandchildrens sake but she just shrugged.. all these little girls must have loved it :/ she hoped so! You could spend time worrying about their welfare if any happened to escape… no point wishing for things to happen when nothing is guaranteed for certain (although lately Abigail felt a lot safer than others, thanks to her power) except maybe something happening to friends & co…… she thought dark thoughts and swallowed tightly not wanting to dwell on anything else than happiness & food… and soon enough she heard her name called!!!..

Emrys, an energetic 15 year old boy with long blond hair stood up admiring Abigail lying back taking in the spectacular view

Abigail would cover her ears to hide her smile and gave Emrys a big goofy grin "Hi Emrys are you new somewhere or do you used to live here?". She clasped her hands together wide in delight as they approached them nervously standing away. It only took days now to get them to come to terms and friendship has grown leaps and bounds in recent months. James didn't respond but shook his head affirmatively after a short explanation.
