Kenny Hoyle Fear Thy Neighbor
EDIT: The film took me 24 years to get through so it's not really a stand alone one but if you take the title as "Fear thy neighbor" then yes
I had heard of this movie from a video showing gongshows. I never saw any details before looking it up. I remember watching your vid here and there back in middle school and only thinking, 'Hm what if I did this, would that be cool?' But now on rewatching it (well shortly after), all those great ideas came rushing back for some reason...
Nowadays I watch movies like fear thy neighbor ad nauseum, so much nostalgia attached to this :') it was very epic though!
Ditto. A wonderful little flick. I need to check out more vintage horror stuff. I didn't even make it through today. It started off good but by about 40 minutes in they opened with her staring at a chalkboard while hearing him talk...holy shit. Your version is just better. Not just visually, it can't be beaten here because Kenny put so much soul into the movie on his first take, just something else about the original...unbelievable.
Oh yeah! At least for me its an example where its always worth reading the script too haha! I actually watched it again yesterday cuz my wife and I have been obsessed these last few weeks and she said "You guys are already going trough the sequel haven't you?", I replied,"no wait we are barely half way" hahaha. Anyway "you should've finished it earlier or started watching it again a week ago" :) I also love the script! Thats why i keep saying "Hm whatif I done that" :-)
Our one-of-a kind guy Kyle wrote up his original screenplay story months ago and uploaded his email address into his web page. Some people were so excited at the prospect of seeing "original" Fear, they went all the way down south -- for free. I'm ecstatic to read yours!! We're you able to see it in its entirety? And how does he feel about all your thoughtful comments regarding things missing from the screenplay?
Yes we did see it in full, and absolutely love him!!!
